Resort Requirements & Policies
For all boarders and daycare participants.
At Wags East Pet Resort, we want to provide the safest possible environment for your pet. We require all of our boarders, daycare participants and dogs being groomed to be current on all vaccines. Please bring proof of these vaccines on or before your pets’ arrival date or daycare session. If you would like us to contact your veterinarian please let us know when you schedule your appointment.
Required Vaccines
Dogs
Rabies: Current in the last year for puppies and the past three years for adult dogs
DHPP: 1yr or 3yr per veterinary recommendations
Bordetella: Due based off of the previous vets records (6 or 12 months)
Fecal: Due based off of the previous vets records (6 or 12 months)
Boarding Policy
If your pet requires special handling or services outside of our regular boarding procedures, there will be a $5.00 per day surcharge added. (i.e. leash walking , cage aggression, extreme feeding etc.)
Cancellation Policy
We require a credit card to hold your pets’ reservation. A $25 “no show” fee will be charged to your credit card for failure to call and cancel your non-holiday reservation at least 24 hours in advance. On holidays a $50 fee will be charged to your card for failure to call 72 hours in advance with your cancellation. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, all changes and cancellations must be made by the 15th of that holiday month or the client is responsible for payment of the entire reservation.
Check-Out Time
Monday-Friday: Standard check out time is by 1:00pm
If your pet has not been checked out by the 1:00 pm check out time, an additional night’s charge will incur. If you have asked to receive a departure service that 1:00 pm fee is waived Monday-Friday.
Saturday: Check out times on Saturdays are from 8:00 am-12:00 pm ONLY. Daily Care Rate fees do not apply on Saturdays due to our limited hours.
Sunday: We offer Sunday pick ups as a courtesy to you; however, a full night’s stay will be incurred for this service.
Food and Medications
If food is brought in, we do require that all food be brought in a sealed container or Ziploc bag labeled with your pet’s name. All medication must be brought in the prescription bottle labeled with the appropriate dosage. We are unable to administer medications that are not in the appropriate containers, injectable medications, or controlled drugs.
